Three hairstylists compete for the prize of a clipper set, an article from an online hairdressing magazine, a championship belt and $15,000 prize money. The competitions consist of cutting portraits or the face of a live model in the hair on the back of a person's head. There are two matches and each round one hairdresser is knocked out.
