The Road plot

The Road follows twelve up-and-coming musicians competing as opening acts for Grammy Award winner Keith Urban on stages across America. Urban, along with executive producers Blake Shelton, Taylor Sheridan, tour manager Gretchen Wilson, and guest artists from the country music scene, along with a live audience, decides who will advance to the next city and win the grand prize. The series documents their risky, unfiltered journeys and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the raw life of a touring musician.
