The Magicians plot

The Magicians follows Quentin Coldwater as a brilliant senior student at Brakebills College of Magical Pedagogy, a secret university in Upstate New York that specializes in magic. He and his friends in their twenties soon discover that the magical fantasy world they read about as children is real and poses grave danger to humanity.
