The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power plot

In a time of relative peace within the Second Age of Middle-Earth, we follow a group of heroes on an epic journey. They are on their way to confront a long feared evil that is rearing its head again. This is how they want to prevent Middle-earth from being cloaked in darkness. During this journey, forces are joined, and those who were least expected to show themselves as true heroes.

It's quite strange that season 2 has already been voted on, while it won't be released until 2024.

Considerably better than the first season, mainly due to the more menacing tone and the increasing connections to Peter Jackson's films. Certain characters still get a bit of a pass (such as Galadriel, dully played by Morfydd Clark), but others, such as Sauron (strongly played by Charlie Vickers), are increasingly coming into their own. This second season gets stronger as it goes on, resulting in a series of compelling and spectacular episodes.
