Round the Twist plot

Tony Twist and his three children, twins Pete and Linda and the youngest Bronson, move from the big city to the coastal town of Port Niranda. They go to live in an old lighthouse, next to the former owner Nell. Strange things start happening to the members of the Twist family from then on.

Round The Twist gaat over de belevenissen van de familie Twist die in de vuurtoren van het Australische plaatsje Port Miranda komen wonen. Vader Tony is een kunstenaar en weduwnaar. Zijn drie kinderen zijn de tweeling Pete en Linda en de jongste zoon is Bronson. Vanaf het moment dat ze in de vuurtoren komen wonen maken ze allerlei bizarre avonturen mee met spoken, behekste objecten en andere weirde shit. Het was een leuke serie die de balans tussen humor en griezel goed wist te bewaren met name in het eerste seizoen was dit het geval. De latere seizoen waren in vergelijking minder maar dat kwam ook omdat een groot deel van de oorspronkelijke cast toen vervangen was want tussen seizoen 1 en 2 zat 3 jaar. Seizoen 3 en 4 hadden weer wel dezelfde cast maar seizoen 3 verscheen weer ruim 7 jaar na seizoen 2. Die wisselende cast is het grootste minpunt aan de gehele serie omdat je daardoor steeds het idee hebt dat je naar een compleet nieuwe serie zit te kijken. Seizoen 1 krijgt 4 sterren de rest gemiddeld 3. De gehele serie is op Youtube te bekijken via het kanaal Twisted Lunchbox.

Round The Twist is about the adventures of the Twist family who come to live in the lighthouse of the Australian town of Port Miranda. Father Tony is an artist and widower. His three children are twins Pete and Linda and the youngest son is Bronson. From the moment they come to live in the lighthouse, they experience all kinds of bizarre adventures with ghosts, haunted objects and other weird shit. It was a nice series that managed to keep the balance between humor and horror, especially in the first season this was the case. The later seasons were comparatively less, but that was also because a large part of the original cast was replaced because there was 3 years between seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 and 4 had the same cast again, but season 3 reappeared more than 7 years after season 2. That changing cast is the biggest downside to the entire series because you always have the idea that you are watching a completely new series. Season 1 gets 4 stars, the rest on average 3.
