Step by Step plot

Mother Carol Foster and father Frank Lambert each have three children and are getting to know each other. They decide to live together and the children end up in a family together. The children can't air each other and that makes for hilarious moments. The children of the Foster family are Dana, Karen and Mark. The children of the Lambert family are JT, Al and Brendan. Later Carol and Frank have a daughter together called Lily. Frank Lambert's nephew also plays an important role. Cody lives in a van next to the house. He is not too smart and thinks everything is cool.
