Waterloo Road plot

There is a school like Waterloo Road in every town in England. The staff is overworked and underpaid, budgets seem to be getting tighter and the kids are getting more and more difficult. It is a melting pot of class and race where the everyday problems of the students are dramatically reflected. However, every student knows that at Waterloo Road they are always looked after by the staff and given every opportunity to receive an education. The teachers themselves are often far from perfect, but as any student with a problem soon discovers, a few motivated and inspiring individuals can make a huge difference.
