Vitjanir plot
After her divorce, Kristin starts working as a doctor in a small Icelandic fishing village. With her daughter and mother close by, she puts her life back on track. Not only is she confronted with her new colleagues, but she also runs into an old flame, a police officer. She soon realizes that, partly because of her past, the village is now her final place. The villagers need her as much as she needs them.
