Verbúðin plot

Colombia has cocaine. Africa has gold. And Iceland has... fish. In the cozy fishing village of Westfjords we follow the couple Harpa and Grimur as they build a real fishing empire together with their childhood friends. With the introduction of a new quota system in the country, privatizing fishing grounds, Harpa and Grimur have to adapt to all the changes that this entails. It is the beginning of a bitter battle full of betrayal, jealousy and greed inside and outside their marriage.
