Upright plot

When Lucky Flynn, a gifted pianist, learns that his mother has only days to live, he sets off in a rental car to cover the 4,000 km from Sydney to Perth. He takes only his most precious possession with him: a battered piano. But the drive through the outback quickly turns into an ordeal as Lucky meets rebellious teen Meg, who, like him, bears a slew of emotional scars.
