Une Mère Parfaite plot

Hélène Berg's well-orchestrated life in Berlin is turned upside down by a phone call. Her daughter Anya, a student in Paris, is accused of murder. Convinced of her daughter's innocence, Hélène takes the first plane to Paris. She promises her husband and her son that she will bring Anya home very soon and that it is all a tragic misunderstanding. On the spot, Hélène conducts her own investigation, aided by Vincent, a French lawyer and also her first love. Gradually, their investigations uncover compromising evidence against Anya. With the discoveries, doubt creeps in: what if her daughter is not innocent?
