The Winds of War plot

An American naval officer and his family, who live all over the world, plunge into the turbulent years of World War II. For many, the fighting in the First World War remains only at a distance, but this time many a backyard becomes a battlefield. Germany threatens Europe, Japan threatens America and the rest of the world seems shrouded in a heavy fog so that no one sees reality anymore.
