Lonely 91-year-old Ptolemy Gray suffers from dementia. He is forgotten by his family, his friends, and now by himself. When he suddenly finds himself without his trusted caretaker, his care is placed in the hands of orphaned teenager Robyn. When they learn of a treatment that can bring back Ptolemy's recent memories, they want to take advantage of it. Now able to remember things for a short time, Ptolemy uses this temporary state of clarity to investigate the mysterious death of his cousin, and to make peace with his past.
