Set ten years after the events of The L Word, The L Word: Generation Q follows an ensemble of friends, the majority of whom are lesbians. The series follows Bette Porter, Shane McCutcheon and Alice Pieszecki alongside a new generation of diverse LGBTQIA characters dealing with love, heartbreak, sex, misfortune and success in Los Angeles.
