The End plot

dr. Kate Brennan is an Australia-based palliative care specialist. Euthanasia is a hot item in Kate's field. On the other side of the world, Kate's mother Edie Henley values her right to die just as much. After attempting to take her own life, Kate has little choice but to get her out of England and deposit her in a nearby Gold Coast retirement home - Edie's worst nightmare. What follows is a story about parents and children, ethics and emotion, and most importantly, how it is never too late to start over.
