Team Spirit: De Serie plot

We follow six men who have been friends since their early childhood and play football together at “Eendracht Vooruit”. They each deal with relationships, work, friendship and responsibilities in their own way, but they have one thing in common: their absolute love for football. Erik is the team's captain and driving force, but like the others has a busy private life, which puts a strain on their beloved soccer Sunday.

In het tweede seizoen worden dingen al eens heel apart in beeld gebracht. Zoals Stef die de vrouwen uitkleedt met z'n ogen, Inge's verloofde Vic en stiefvader Paul (echte Vic) die van rol wisselen, Jos en Rita hun fantasieën, Franky die tegen pa Leemans praat, Jean-Marc z'n zelfmoordgedachten) en het bevat ook wat apartere humor zoals Jean-Marc die z'n macho-kant bovenhaalt (à la Marcske in FC De Kampioenen), Franky op de zittribune tegen de psychiater, de sessies bij de psychiater, de sketch met de cactus-koper (waar hij later in Wat Als nog eens naar zou verwijzen), Jean-Marc en Jos die het aan de stok krijgen met de Buffalo Boys, de collega van Jean-Marc, Adriaan Van den Hoof's humor). Ik vind dit seizoen dan ook net een tikkeltje leuker dan het eerste, vooral door de toevoeging van een compilatie van wat sketches, wel onvoldoende om het 4* te gaan geven, dus blijft het bij 3,5.

In the second season, things are sometimes portrayed in a very peculiar way. I therefore find this season just a tad more enjoyable than the first one, especially due to the addition of a compilation of some sketches, but not enough to give it 4 stars, so it remains at 3.5.
