During the tumultuous early days of the civil rights movement in Memphis, a new stream of music emerges: rock'n'roll. Led by studio owner Sam Phillips, new, young artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis know how to leave their mark on music and history. Blending hillbilly country music with blues and R&B during a period of social and political turmoil, the world is changed forever by the record label Sun Records.
