Striking Out plot

When Tara Rafferty discovers that her fiancé and fellow lawyer Eric Dunbar has been cheating on her, she decides to leave both him and the prestigious law firm she works for. She now starts her own practice and specializes in family and divorce law. Her new cases pit her against a number of influential families, government agencies and political bodies. In addition, she will also have to regularly review her own moral convictions for her business.
