Severance plot

Mark is a data analyst who works for the company 'Lumen Industries'. He leads a team of office workers whose memories of their private and working lives are surgically split apart. When a colleague who previously acted secretly goes missing, Mark is alarmed. Then Mark gradually learns the truth behind the work of Lumen Industries' employees, and begins to realize that the company is more dangerous than it seems.

Eén van de meest creatieve series die ik heb gezien de laatste jaren. Vol filosofische thematiek en ook audiovisueel meer dan in orde. Verbaas er me wel een beetje over dat het niet bekender is, maar dat kan ongetwijfeld met het relatief kleinschalige Apple TV publiek te maken hebben. In dat geval zou het nog zomaar een cultserie kunnen worden. Het zit boordevol inspiratie en begon dit seizoen al wel wat uit de bocht te vliegen. Hoop daarom dat het bij twee seizoenen blijft.

One of the most creative series I have seen in recent years. Full of philosophical themes and also audiovisually more than satisfactory. I am a bit surprised that it isn't more well-known, but that undoubtedly has to do with the relatively small Apple TV audience. In that case, it could very well become a cult series.

It is packed with inspiration and already started to go off the rails a bit this season. That is why I hope it stays at two seasons.
