Pleidooi plot
Victor van Gilze Jr. no longer wants to work at his father's law firm. He wants to prove that he can work as a lawyer without the protection of his father. His secretary, Bep, goes with him and together with the lawyers Bernard, Pam, Helen and Mourad he sets up Van Gilze Wesseling. The young firm has a debt of two hundred thousand euros with the bank, but is bursting with idealism. It soon becomes apparent that Gilze's father does not agree with his son. He starts the attack by buying away Bernard and with it two of their important customers. De Bernard is replaced by the more progressive lawyer Cas. While the firm's lawyers handle all kinds of cases, various private entanglements play a major role.
