Outlander plot
Outlander follows the life of Claire Randall, a happily married nurse who mysteriously disappears in 1945 - shortly after the Second World War - and awakens in the Scotland of 1743. A completely different series than I expected. I thought this would be more fairytale and romantic, but this is even more brutal in some aspects than Black Sails, Vikings and Game of Thrones. Scotland is a beautiful setting and the statues and costumes are a pleasure every time. The chemistry between Claire and Jamie is excellent, but I still find Claire very annoying at times. The big downside of this season is that it was quite repetitive. Every episode, one of the lead roles was captured by the redcoats, it seemed. The season could therefore have been a little shorter.
