No Tengo Miedo plot
1986, during the turbulent Second World War in Mexico (marked by Maradona's 'Hand of God' goal). Miguel, then a young boy from Veracruz, discovers while playing another child chained in a hidden hole underground. What begins as a childish game soon turns into a chilling reality in which Miguel realizes that a life is at stake and that his own family is involved in the dark practices in his village.

I thought this was a truly fantastic series, in which everyone who starred in it acted incredibly well. The little one who played Miguel was especially amazing. The other children did more than a good job as well.
It was a harsh drama about poverty, and how far you are willing to go when you have nothing and can barely feed your children. What happens in this series cannot be justified, yet it makes you think. How far would you go yourself to at least give your family food and a better life...?
