New Amsterdam season 1

Ryan Eggold as progressive care messiah in a rather brave, politically correct and not very realistic series. However, the 'soap' element is quite well executed, because you quickly empathize with the somewhat superficial well-meaning characters. It even gets an 80s/90s vibe here and there. In addition, this sheds some light on another important part of the series, which is the more modern, interesting critique of the American health care system.

Hopefully the second season will go the extra mile, the first episodes look promising.
