Manhunt plot

Manhunt is a true story about the hunt for serial killer Levi Bellfield. The murder of French-born Amelie Delagrange at Twickenham Greene in August 2004 has been linked to the murder of Marsha McDonnell in 2003. It also appears to be linked to the kidnapping and murder of Milly Dowler when she was traveling home from school in 2002 . DCI Sutton is assigned the case. He is extremely driven to solve this case, although there is little evidence in the case. Thanks to the diligence of him and his colleagues, a breakthrough comes in the case.

Manhunt season 2

In S2 of Manhunt (The Night Stalker), DCI Colin Sutton (Martin Clunes) goes in search of the perpetrator of a large number of brutal robberies on the over-70s. Clunes, best known for his roles in not so interesting British comedies, carries Manhunt in every way. As a sleuth nearing retirement, Clunes is witty and dedicated. But at the same time he gives his role a certain depth that fits perfectly into the shocking true story. Manhunt, based on the memoirs of the real Colin Sutton, is more drama than thriller but is well put together in every way.

Clunes, not yet 60 at the time of shooting, may not be entirely credible as an almost retired detective, but it does provide a certain freshness. Which is reinforced by his wife Louise (Claudie Blakley), who looks at least 10 years younger. And is. A small imperfection. With two excellent seasons, Manhunt follows (a bit) in the footsteps of a series like Unforgotten, which has been able to deliver excellent quality for four seasons. Good, better, British.
