Maigret plot

Chief Inspector Jules Maigret is a rising star in the police force, relentless in his investigations, with an uncanny ability to get under the skin of the criminals he pursues, and an unparalleled knowledge of Paris and its inhabitants. Along with his team of idiosyncratic yet loyal detectives, he solves a series of complex crimes across Paris. However, his unconventional methods and unique sense of justice bring him into conflict with his superiors and the justice system he is supposed to represent.

De echte Maigret leeft nog in ons al zal hij terzelfdertijd zich in zijn graf omdraaien en denken : dat heb ik niet verdiend. Los van de titel evenwel, bij de doorsnee horend met de klassieke spelpatronen zoals de workaholic-ipr die alleen staat daar waar hij een eerlijk en gerechtvaardigd doel nastreeft en daarbij moet optornen tegen andere, niet zo fraaie houdingen binnen zijn eigen korps of machtselementen net daar buiten. En dat hij daarbij wel vaak thuis afwezig is wat erg vervelend is, heb ik al vele keren gezien.

The real Maigret still lives within us, although at the same time he will be turning in his grave and thinking: I didn't deserve that.

Regardless of the title, however, belonging to the average with classic playing patterns such as the workaholic IPR who stands alone where he pursues an honest and justified goal and must contend with other, not-so-savory attitudes within his own corps or power structures just outside of it.

And I have seen many times that he is often absent from home while doing so, which is very annoying.

Sorry, maar geef deze een straf om Maigret zo te verkrachten. Geef het een andere titel en geef het aan BBC Belgium! Wil je de beste Maigret zien, kijk dan gewoon naar de Maigret vertolkt door Bruno Cremer, dat is hem gewoon. De taal zou ik nog kunnen vergeven. De prachtige politieserie Wallander heeft ook een Britse versie, en die is zeker niet slecht, ook al spreken ze daar Engels in....

Sorry, but punish this for butchering Maigret like this. Give it a different title and give it to BBC Belgium!

If you want to see the best Maigret, just watch the Maigret portrayed by Bruno Cremer; that is simply him. I could still forgive the language. The wonderful police series Wallander also has a British version, and that is certainly not bad, even though they speak English there....
