Milan, 1975. Irene, the daughter of immigrants from southern Italy, decides to respond to an advertisement in the fashion magazine "Appeal" to support herself during her studies. From that moment on, her life changes along with the changes in Milanese fashion in the years when it became known worldwide thanks to a generation of extraordinary stylists. She starts a professional career that quickly brings a prestigious position in the magazine, and her private life.
