Horace and Pete plot

A small Irish pub called 'Horace and Pete's' in Brooklyn, New York, has been run by the same family since 1916, with a Horace and a Pete as the owners. The current owners are 49-year-old Horace Wittel VIII, divorced and father of one daughter, and his cousin, 52-year-old bachelor Pete. The bar is old-fashioned and true to tradition: you won't find mixed drinks there, and the only beer is Budweiser on tap. The owners and the regulars share their joys and sorrows as they drink and work in the bar. For example, some of the family want to sell the bar, but others, such as Horace and Pete, are against.
