Ellis plot

Inspector Ellis and her right-hand woman Harper arrive at police stations to solve murder cases. She will have to win over the local detectives and delve into the cases she is there to solve. As a black female police officer, Ellis is used to being ignored and overlooked, but she is a first-class homicide detective, with a determination for justice and a deep well of compassion for those in need.

I thought the first two episodes were fine, the third was mediocre. Focusing on the first two, they were excellent stories with a few interesting twists. If a potential second season is anything like this, I'm looking forward to it. Ellis's performance is excellent, too. It's enjoyable to watch.
