All in all, quite fascinating how a phlegmatic, astute ex-detective from his handicapped position, albeit firmly supported by a few willing employees, tackles a murder case from thirty years earlier.
The intrigue is well laid out and acceptable. It doesn't have an exciting pace - and it doesn't have to - and there's time for something else to happen - our hero's poor physical condition - as well as moments of dry humor and amusing dialogue.
Good performances across the board.
