Crossroads plot

John Hawkins, an assistant district attorney from New York, is told by a Seattle district attorney that his 16-year-old son Dylan is in trouble. John hasn't seen his son for seven years after he decided to raise Dylan by his grandparents because of his alcohol problem. This time he takes responsibility and decides to tour with Dylan on his motorcycle, in the hope of re-establishing contact with his son.
