Aber Bergen season 1

In the end, much better than what I had dared to hope for after one episode.

Well-constructed whole with a case that runs throughout the season, and a number of minor processes in one or a few episodes. Fascinating, and quite exciting towards the end.

The problems of/with the son are superfluous: the kind of side plot that is added in many series and films, and is above all an irritating cliché.

But what's especially difficult - with all due respect to the actors - are the ultra-selfish, self-centered, narcissistic characters that you sit and watch all the time.

The cool and calm and barely-seeing blind Magnus;
Diana giving the impression that the word 'respect' is not present in the Norwegian language;
Elea, a collection of superlatives in the field of sober, coquettish, cold-blooded, charisma, beautiful (?);
and Erik, ultra-macho with an overdose of tattoos who regularly can't control his aggression, who also regularly gets a blow, but who is of course too tough to know what pain would be. And which also gets every woman in bed.

Lawyers and courts, I love it. Of course, not every character in a movie has to be Miss or Mister Sympa, quite the contrary. The makers of Aber Bergen, however, go a step too far. You get used to it after a few episodes - here and there you can also detect some good traits; Hoera. However, there is an ongoing and totally unnecessary annoyance; I couldn't even empathize with any of the characters.

For the basic story, the images and the actors: 4, maybe even 4.5*. But points are lost for/by the characters.
