Many nature documentaries and series in recent years often contain the same images and subjects, in which the devastating effect of humans often predominates. With Our Great National Parks finally some refreshing images, with the National Parks worldwide as the main line. At the same time, the focus is more on what people also do for nature conservation. Looks really good! Obama as narrator somewhat less choice .. now and then I get the feeling that I'm listening to a politician, but not very disturbing.

Particularly beautifully filmed five-part documentary series from Netflix, provided with the excellent voice-over of Barack Obama. The national parks that are discussed seem to be chosen a bit at random, but apart from that there is little to criticize about the series. Especially the episodes about Patagonia and Monterey are very beautiful. The camera work is of a high standard and everything else also breathes quality.
