Clunes embarks on a journey along the American coast to discover what life is like on the islands that surround this continent. This journey has a length of ten thousand miles, from the West to the East. In this way he goes on a journey of discovery to the diversity of this island, spread over the coasts. From the ancient Hawaiian and Alaskan landscapes to the islands that served as backyards for many presidents.
