Kroonprinsen plot

After the departure of Sven Nys at the beginning of 2016, everyone is looking forward to a new virtuoso on the field. Whoever it will be, the new hero will be young and ambitious. Because what turns out? The sport has been completely taken over by blushing twenty-somethings this year. They are the crown princes competing for the vacant throne. Kroonprinsen follows the erratic track of four young cyclo-cross riders: Wout van Aert, Mathieu van der Poel, Laurens Sweeck and Eli Iserbyt. They color many a cyclo-cross race on the weekend, but they also struggle with growing up, the sky-high expectations and their unadulterated urge for fame.
