Cuba na Castro plot

In the four-part travel series Cuba na Castro, the Cuban-Dutch Yuri Capetillo Hardy is followed during the fraught return to his native country. Like many of his compatriots, he fled Cuba at the age of nineteen. Get out of Fidel's grip, poverty and hopelessness. Fifteen years later, Cuba has changed and director Maaike de Gruyter takes Yuri back to his native country. She takes him to places that confront him with both his past and the changes in the present.
