This superficial repetition exercise ('Yes ma'am'), comparable to a series like America's Next Top Model, offers a glimpse into the psyche of the interchangeable rookies and veterans. Even when underpayment or mental problems of the cheerleaders are discussed, America's Sweethearts remains tame and for the stage.
