The Rockford Files plot
The Rockford Files is about the unconventional Jim Rockford, a former inmate turned private detective and now driving his classic Pontiac Firebird. He's the type that would rather go fishing than fighting, but he has a very good instinct for solving closed cases. From his mobile home in Malibu, this private detective takes you to the most diverse cases as he tracks down seemingly lost clues in the sun-drenched streets and alleys of Los Angeles.
