The Listener plot

Toby Logan, a 25-year-old paramedic, has a big secret: he's a telepath. So far, Toby has been able to keep his abilities hidden and explored their possibilities only with Dr. Ray Mercer, his longtime mentor and confidant. While working with his energetic colleague "Oz" Bey, Toby tries to help people in crisis while unraveling the truth about his past. While he's in control of his professional life, his personal life could use some help. With the help of Detective Charlie Marks and his doctor and ex-girlfriend Olivia Fawcett, Toby realizes that his gift can help others.
