The Frankenstein Chronicles plot

In nineteenth-century London, after the arrest of a smuggler's gang, police officers discover the corpse of a child. However, it turns out that this is not the body of one person, but that the corpse consists of body parts of different people. John Marlott, a police inspector, tries to track down the killer. His investigation leads him to a dark side of London.

And then just watched the rest of season 1 in its entirety yesterday. The atmosphere and acting are excellent, not only from Sean Bean but also the rest of the cast is very strong.

But if your first two episodes were not caught by the atmosphere, it will become more difficult later on, but still give it a chance!

And the ending might go a little too fast, but the build-up is just sublime. And yes, I didn't like the passing of a character, so well written.

Rating is very close to 4.5 stars. Very excited for season 2!
