FBI agent and Muslim practicing Darwyn Al-Sayeed tries to infiltrate a terrorist gang planning an attack in Los Angeles. One day, Darwyn is introduced to Faris al-Farik, a fundamentalist Muslim who leads the clandestine organization. But Farik soon becomes suspicious and has Darwyn and the other gang members taken to the middle of the desert, where he begins to interrogate the group. He claims there is a traitor among them, endangering Darwyn's mission and life.
