La Trêve season 1

Hmm, actually it makes no sense: Pietje shoots at the victim while he runs away, Jantje (who is in a match fixing conspiracy with him), drives him for his fagot with someone else's car of course , knocks him down and wants to bury him, but he is suddenly dead (huh?), Truus finds and kills him and just turns out Nazi Klaus to be the house owner who then throws him into a river, after which he is eventually found nearby the caravan of a totally confused man. And lo and behold, you suddenly have a lot of suspects. It will just happen to you... haha too much thought and coincidence.

Apart from that "little" thing, La Trêve is a decent series with a fairly standard murder mystery, but with a nice atmosphere in the woods and around wonderfully filthy farms and houses.

Acting is okay, the series has a promising start but halfway through I think it has a dip. The last two episodes are good again, despite the clumsy, unbelievable denouement ( and especially with Drummer I thought) and the whole series of coincidences.

PS Another question I was wondering: the killer would benefit if the detectives thought the suicide note was real. Why does she tell the police that he couldn't write so there is certainty that it is a murder? Or did I miss something...

La Trêve season 1

Pleasantly surprised with this Walloon series.
Inspector returning to his native region. Village full of rather socially deviant types. Gloomy atmosphere in yet very beautiful surroundings.
Difficult to click with any character.
Not so exciting that I was bingewatching. But curious about 'Who did it?'. Regular plot twists keep you on your toes.
The acting is okay.
Watch series 2 now.
