Body of Proof plot

Doctor Megan Hunt was a respected neurosurgeon in a previous life. Due to her busy professional activities, her marriage ended in divorce and she lost custody of her daughter to her ex-husband. After her divorce, she had a car accident which resulted in reduced feeling in her hands. When one of her patients died on the operating table, she stopped the surgery. She becomes a medical examiner for the Philadelphia Police Department and with her enthusiasm she solves murder cases, but that same enthusiasm also irritates her colleagues. Her knowledge and skills as a surgeon often come in handy when solving the various murders.
