After the last episode of the first season, I wondered if there would be a sequel, because the finale of that first season was pretty close. The makers have worked on it for a second season, and I admit, I liked it a little less than the first.
The season kicks off with Claudia's release from the prison she was in after the Energreen fiasco. She finds work in a coffee house, but it soon becomes apparent that her future will again be in the business world, especially at the banks Nova and Absalon. This seems like a logical start, especially given the resentment that Claudia feels for Knud Christensen, Nova Bank's chief executive who turned out to be the true villain in the first season. That resentment sometimes drives Claudia to very selfish, cold decisions, and the plot to some illogical, less successful turns. The cat and mouse game between Claudia and Absalon Bank (is she employed or not?) has a somewhat irritating effect in the long run.
Mads and Nicky also star this season. Mads remains his cocky, surly self, but Nicky is evolving. Gradually he sinks further and further into the dark pool into which he himself jumped, but he also gets promoted; the Swede sees a great future for him. His part in the story is one of the big boosts this second season.
With Christensen's death at the end the curtain seems to have fallen now; the ends are even better (somewhat forced or not) tied together. All in all, a nice series.

I don't know which series the above description belongs to, but at least not Season 2 of 'Amount'. This second season built on the first and was a bit of the same thing, maybe just a little more captivating. I found the financial plot positive; that was put down well and clearly, regardless of whether this is possible in practice. A lot less I liked the criminal plot with the Swede, Nicky and Bimse. This really made no sense; at times even a stupid display, including the actions of the two police fraud fighters. That's not to say it was bad acting. I found nothing wrong with that. So for me the same rating as Season 1.
