Alfred Hitchcock Presents plot

Anthology series in which "master of suspense" Alfred Hitchcock opens each episode with a monologue that may or may not be funny, after which the viewer is presented with a stand-alone story about people who commit different kinds of crimes, combined with horror, comedy and drama elements. Then Hitchcock closes the story by revealing any loose ends the viewer might still have.
