Advokaten plot

Frank Nordling is a young, promising lawyer. When he discovers the truth behind the deaths of his adoptive parents, his world comes crashing down. To Frank's horror, Waldman, one of the law firm's most prominent clients and an active key figure in the criminal environment, is involved. To avenge the deaths of his parents, Frank must infiltrate Waldman's organization and become his personal lawyer and confidant.

Advokaten season 1

Given the writing talent involved (Hans Rosenfeldt has written The Bridge, Marcella and Den Fördömde, among others, and Jens Lapidus is the author of the Snabba Cash books), this series is a major disappointment. The plot rattles on all sides and the main character walks through the unlikely events like a headless chicken. It doesn't really want to be exciting. I expect/hope it stays with this one season.

Advokaten season 1

Thomas Bo Larsen is a charismatic actor who can always put down some strong moments. Karim and Buska also do quite well and there are still some great acting performances, but the plot is regularly quite unbelievable and messy. There is also a good dash of action and a potentially quite interesting plot, although I saw little to no original elements.

The decoration and such things are neatly in order, but there is no real atmosphere and almost nowhere does it come to empathize with the (main) characters...
