ÜberWeihnachten plot

The festival season gets really tough for Basti: his career as a musician is not crowned with success and the prospect of having to celebrate a rather depressing Christmas after divorcing his girlfriend Fine further depresses the general mood. Visiting his family during the holiday season promises a welcome distraction. But when his brother Niklas suddenly appears with his former girlfriend Fine by his side, Basti loses even the last bit of hope for a happy future.

Particularly sympathetic and nicely performed Christmas series that takes place in the Eifel. It's a nice mix of cynicism, sweetness and creativity. The main actors do a great job and give a fresh twist to a not very original screenplay.
