The Drew Carey Show plot

The stocky, kind and not-so-successful Drew is the assistant manager of a store in Cleveland. He has been working there for years and it is unlikely that that will change quickly. The most important people in his life are his friends. These are the extremely intelligent but unambitious Lewis Kiniski, the much less dim-witted Oswald Lee Harvey and Kate O'Brien, Drew's childhood buddy, though he hoped for more at the time. Together with them he talks about what he has been through, what keeps him busy and especially about not being able to get a nice woman. Mimi Bobeck, his boss' assistant, takes care of the biggest annoyances in Drew's life. The annoyance is mutual. When Drew or Mimi can deliver a prank to the other person, he or she certainly won't fail to do so.
