Dirk and his wife Annie are on holiday for the first time in a Spanish seaside resort. They stay in a luxury hotel that they really can't afford. Whoever stays there are Linda, an old friend of Dirk, and her husband Bob. These snobs are absolute opposites of the folksy Dirk and Annie.
