Suddenly Susan plot

Suddenly Susan is set in San Francisco and follows the life of Susan Keane, an employee at the fictional magazine The Gate. On her wedding day, Keane realizes that she and her fiancé, Kip, are not meant for each other. She decides to call off the wedding and resumes her old job as an editor at The Gate. There she begins "Suddenly Susan", a column about her life as a single.
