Strangers with Candy plot

Jerri Blank is a forty-six-year-old lady with a difficult past. She never finished school, turned to drink and drugs and ran away from home. Now, however, she gets a new chance in life and she grabs it with both hands. Jerri decides to return to high school to graduate and improve her life. However, she soon finds out that her age isn't her biggest problem: high school is simply hard for everyone, no matter how old you are.
